Game Description
Rampage is a classic arcade video game developed and published by Midway Games in 1986. The game was later ported to various home consoles and computer platforms.
In Rampage, the player controls one of three giant monsters – George the giant gorilla, Lizzie the giant lizard, or Ralph the giant werewolf – as they rampage through various cities, destroying buildings and fighting off the military forces sent to stop them.
The game features simple controls, with the player able to jump, punch, and grab objects to throw at enemies or buildings. The game also features power-ups, such as food and power capsules, that can restore health or increase the player’s strength.
Rampage became a popular arcade game upon its release, with its fast-paced gameplay, destructible environments, and humorous tone appealing to players. The game spawned numerous sequels and spin-offs, as well as a 2018 film adaptation starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
