Star Fire Description
Star Fire is a fixed shooter arcade game released by Exidy in 1979. The game was notable for being one of the first arcade games to feature a full-color RGB display. In the game, the player controls a spaceship and must defend the Earth from alien attacks. The player’s spaceship can move horizontally along the bottom of the screen and fire lasers at the enemy ships, which fly in formation at the top of the screen. The player must avoid enemy fire and destroy the aliens in order to advance to the next level. “Star Fire” was not as successful as some of the other arcade games of the time, but it was an important early example of the fixed shooter genre.
