Game Description

In the Groove is a rhythm-based dance game released in 2004 by Roxor Games. It is the spiritual successor to the popular Dance Dance Revolution series. The gameplay is similar to DDR, where players step on panels in time with the music, but ITG features more complex step patterns, the ability to hold notes, and a wider range of difficulty levels. The game also features a wider range of music genres, including techno, trance, and rock, with many licensed tracks and original songs. In addition to the regular arcade mode, the game features a home version that allows players to create and share their own step charts, and also includes a workout mode for those looking to get fit while having fun.
