Game Description
Clowns is a video game released by the game development company, Atari, in 1978. It was an arcade game that was released as a part of the company’s “Circus” series of games. In the game, the player controls a seesaw at the bottom of the screen and attempts to launch clowns into a barrel located at the top of the screen by timing the release of the seesaw. The player is awarded points for each clown that successfully lands in the barrel. The game is relatively simple and was not a major commercial success for Atari. However, it is notable for being one of the early games to incorporate a carnival or circus theme.
