List of Breath of Fire Video Games and Stats (2024)

Breath of Fire is a series of console-based role-playing games developed by Capcom. The series was first released in Japan in 1993 and has since seen several releases on various consoles. The games are set in a high fantasy world and typically feature a young hero, often named Ryu, who must journey across the land to save his people from a great evil.

The original Breath of Fire was released for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) and followed the story of Ryu, a member of the Dragon Clan, who must rescue his sister from the Dark Dragon Empire. The game was well received and spawned several sequels, each building on the original game’s story and gameplay mechanics.

Breath of Fire II was released in 1994 for the SNES and follows the story of Ryu, who is now a member of a small village. The game introduced new gameplay mechanics and improved graphics and sound over its predecessor.
