list of Blue Dragon video gamesThe Blue Dragon game franchise is a Japanese role-playing game (JRPG) series developed by Mistwalker and Artoon and published by Microsoft Game Studios. The franchise started with the release of the first game, “Blue Dragon,” for the Xbox 360 in 2006.

The game was directed by Hironobu Sakaguchi, who is known for creating the “Final Fantasy” series, and the music was composed by Nobuo Uematsu, who also worked on the “Final Fantasy” series. The game’s character designs were created by Akira Toriyama, the artist behind the “Dragon Quest” and “Dragon Ball” series.

The story follows a group of friends, including the main character, Shu, who possess the power of shadows and must use their abilities to defeat a powerful entity known as Nene. The game features turn-based combat, and players can customize their characters with different shadow abilities and equipment.

The success of the first game led to the development of a sequel, “Blue Dragon Plus,” for the Nintendo DS in 2008. The game continued the story of the original game and added real-time strategy gameplay elements.

In 2009, a third game in the series, “Blue Dragon: Awakened Shadow,” was released for the Nintendo DS. The game features a new protagonist and takes place in a new world, but still includes the same shadow powers and turn-based combat system as the previous games.

Since then, there have been no new releases in the Blue Dragon game franchise. However, the characters from the series have appeared in various crossover games, including “Project X Zone” and “Super Robot Wars V.”
