Game Description

“The Finals” is a free-to-play first-person shooter game developed by Embark Studios, which emphasizes arcade-style gameplay and game-show mechanics. It’s played in teams of three, with four squads competing in each match. The game sets itself apart with its high levels of environmental destruction, allowing players to demolish buildings and other areas using explosives. While it is not officially categorized as a battle royale game, it does incorporate some elements from the genre??.

The game promotes team-based matches on maps where the environment can be dynamically altered or completely destroyed, encouraging players to use the surroundings to gain an advantage. This aligns with its inspiration drawn from various arena-style competitions and narratives like “The Hunger Games,” “Gladiator,” “Squid Game,” and “The Running Man”????.

“The Finals” is set to release in 2023, although Embark Studios has not yet announced an exact release date.
