Sword of Fargoal is a 1983 role-playing video game that was originally developed for the Commodore 64. The game features dungeon-crawling gameplay in which the player must explore the randomly generated dungeons, fight monsters, and find treasures. The game is known for its innovative use of randomly generated maps, which made each playthrough unique. The game was well-received upon its release and was praised for its high level of challenge and innovative gameplay. In 2010, a remake of the game was released for iOS devices. The remake features updated graphics and sound, as well as new gameplay elements.
