Game Description

Street Fighter 6, released in 2023, is the seventh main entry in the acclaimed Street Fighter franchise, developed and published by Capcom. This fighting game was launched for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S on June 2, 2023. Additionally, an arcade version named Street Fighter 6 Type Arcade was released for Japanese arcade cabinets on December 14, 2023, through a collaboration with Taito??.

The development team was led by director Takayuki Nakayama, with Kazuhiro Tsuchiya, Shuhei Matsumoto, and Kansuke Sakurai serving as producers. The game’s design was headed by Mitsugu Ashida, programming by Keiji Sakamoto, art direction by Kaname Fujioka, and the music was composed by a team including Yoshiya Terayama, Shigeyuki Kameda, Yasumasa Kitagawa, Tom Fox, Marshall Smith, and Haruki Yamada. “Street Fighter 6” utilizes the RE Engine and supports both single-player and multiplayer modes. It also marks a significant release, continuing the series’ legacy in fighting games and offering gameplay on multiple platforms, including a specialized arcade system utilizing the Taito Type X4 and NESiCAxLive2??.
