Hunchback Description
Hunchback is an arcade game released by Century Electronics in 1983. The game was designed by Ocean Software and is loosely based on the novel “The Hunchback of Notre-Dame” by Victor Hugo. The player takes on the role of Quasimodo, the hunchbacked bell-ringer of Notre Dame cathedral, and must navigate through various obstacles to rescue Esmeralda, who has been captured by the evil archdeacon. The game is notable for its difficult gameplay, requiring precise timing and quick reflexes to progress through the levels. It was a popular game during the 1980s arcade era and was later ported to several home gaming platforms.
