Game Description
Dreams to Reality is an action-adventure video game developed by Cryo Interactive and published by Infogrames. It was released in 1996 for PlayStation and Windows. The game’s story follows the character, “Switch,” who must traverse a series of 2D and 3D environments in order to collect four “dreamstones” which will allow him to awaken a sleeping princess. The game’s environments are based on various genres of film, including horror, sci-fi, and fantasy. Gameplay involves combat against various enemies, solving puzzles and platforming. Players can choose to switch between 2D and 3D modes at any time. The game was praised for its unique art style and its innovative use of 2D and 3D graphics.
