Software Toolworks was a video game developer and publisher based in Chatsworth, California. The company was founded in 1980 and was responsible for developing and publishing a variety of games for the Apple II, Commodore 64, and IBM PC. Software Toolworks is perhaps best known for its educational games, including the “Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing” series.
