Virtual Chess 64 is a chess simulation game released for the Nintendo 64 console in 1998. The game features both a 2D and 3D view of the board, with various options for gameplay and difficulty levels. Virtual Chess 64 allows players to play against the computer or against other players using a split-screen display. There is also an option for players to analyze their games, as well as a tutorial mode for beginners to learn the game. The game includes a large library of famous chess games, as well as an opening book and an endgame tablebase. Virtual Chess 64 received positive reviews for its realistic gameplay and its variety of options and features.
