Uncharted Waters: New Horizons Description
Uncharted Waters: New Horizons is a simulation game developed by Koei Tecmo for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES). It is the sequel to Uncharted Waters and allows the player to explore the world and trade goods between ports while also engaging in combat. The game takes place during the Age of Discovery in the 16th century and features six playable characters from different parts of the world. The gameplay is divided into two main modes: adventure mode and simulation mode. In adventure mode, players travel the world to find new ports to visit, recruit new crew members, and uncover hidden treasures. In simulation mode, players manage their fleets and resources to trade goods and become the most successful merchant in the world. The game is praised for its open-world exploration, deep gameplay mechanics, and historical accuracy.
