Speedball 2100 is a futuristic sports game developed by The Bitmap Brothers and released for the Sony PlayStation in 2000. The game is a remake of the original Speedball game released in 1988. In Speedball 2100, players control a team of futuristic athletes who compete in a violent game similar to soccer, with the objective of scoring as many goals as possible while also attacking opponents to prevent them from scoring. The game features a single-player tournament mode where players can compete against AI-controlled teams to progress through the league. There is also a multiplayer mode where players can compete against each other. Speedball 2100 received positive reviews upon release, with critics praising its fast-paced gameplay and futuristic setting.
