Game Description
Blue Max 2001 is a side-scrolling shooter video game developed by Synapse Software and released in 1984 for the Atari 8-bit family. The game is set in World War I, where the player controls a British Sopwith Camel biplane, fighting against German planes. The player must destroy enemy planes, tanks, and trains while avoiding obstacles such as balloons, trees, and buildings. The game features four different missions, each with its objectives. The player can upgrade their plane’s weapons and fuel by collecting power-ups that appear throughout the game.
