Zoo Tycoon 2: Extinct Animals is a business simulation game developed by Blue Fang Games and published by Microsoft Game Studios. It is the fourth expansion pack in the Zoo Tycoon 2 series and was released in 2007. The game allows players to create their own extinct animal zoos, featuring 30 new animals such as the woolly mammoth, saber-toothed cat, and dodo bird. It also adds new features such as the Fossil Hunt mini-game and an Extinct Animals Campaign Mode. Players are tasked with keeping their zoos profitable while providing the animals with proper care and habitats.
