Game Description
X-Men vs. Street Fighter is a crossover fighting game developed and published by Capcom. It was released in 1996 for arcade systems, and later for the PlayStation and Sega Saturn consoles. The game features characters from both the Marvel Comics universe and the Street Fighter video game franchise.
Players select a team of two characters and engage in one-on-one battles with their opponent’s team. The game introduces the tag team system, where players can switch between their characters during a match. The gameplay also incorporates the super combo system from the Street Fighter Alpha series, where players can execute powerful moves by inputting specific commands.
X-Men vs. Street Fighter received positive reviews for its gameplay, graphics, and character roster. It is considered one of the best crossover fighting games of all time and has been ported to several home consoles and included in various Capcom compilations.
