Game Description
Vigilante 8 is a vehicular combat video game that was released in 1998 for the Nintendo 64, PlayStation, and Game Boy Color consoles. The game is set in an alternate version of 1975 where an oil crisis has led to a nationwide civil war. The player takes on the role of a vigilante seeking to stop a group of terrorists known as the Coyotes. The gameplay consists of driving a heavily armed vehicle and battling other vehicles in various arenas across the game’s fictional world. The game features an array of weapons such as missiles, machine guns, flamethrowers, and mines. The game also has a multiplayer mode that allows up to four players to play together.
