Triple Play 2001 is a baseball simulation game developed by EA Sports. It is part of the popular Triple Play series and was released in 2001 for PlayStation, PlayStation 2, and Microsoft Windows. The game features all 30 Major League Baseball teams, complete with their rosters, and allows players to simulate a full season, playoffs, and World Series. Triple Play 2001 also includes a Home Run Derby mode, allowing players to hit as many home runs as possible within a time limit. The game features commentary from ESPN announcers, which adds to the realism of the game.
