The Getaway Description
The Getaway is an open-world action-adventure video game developed by Team Soho and published by Sony Computer Entertainment. It was released for the PlayStation 2 in 2002 and is set in a fictional version of London. The game follows two separate storylines, one featuring a former criminal attempting to rescue his kidnapped wife, and the other following a police officer attempting to bring down a gangster. The game featured realistic depictions of London, including several iconic landmarks, and was praised for its graphics and gameplay. However, it was criticized for its lack of replay value and difficult controls.
