Game Description

“Tennis” is a video game released in 1984 for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES), developed and published by Nintendo. It is a sports game that simulates a game of tennis, allowing players to compete against each other or against the computer-controlled opponent.

In the game, players control a tennis player on the screen, with the goal of hitting the ball back and forth over a net to score points. The player can choose between different modes, including singles or doubles matches, and can also adjust the difficulty level.

“Tennis” was one of the earliest sports games released for the NES and helped establish the console as a platform for sports games. It was well received by players and critics at the time of its release, with particular praise for its simple and intuitive gameplay. The game also inspired later tennis games for the NES and other consoles.
