Game Description

Styx is a 1983 Atari 2600 game designed by Joe Vierra and published by Parker Brothers. It is an action-adventure game where the player navigates through a maze-like level consisting of eight sections, each with a different puzzle to solve. The player controls the character of Styx, a warrior on a quest to collect the seven pieces of a magical sword, known as the Sword of Life. Along the way, the player must avoid enemies, traps, and other hazards, while collecting treasure and power-ups. The game was well-received for its challenging gameplay, impressive graphics, and atmospheric music. It was one of the last games released for the Atari 2600 before the video game crash of 1983.
