Game Description

Stop the Express is an action game developed and published by Hudson Soft for the ZX Spectrum, Commodore 64, and MSX in 1983. In the game, the player must stop a runaway train by placing obstacles on the tracks ahead of it. The game is played from a side-scrolling perspective, and the player can control various objects such as logs and oil drums to create obstacles for the train to crash into. Stop the Express received mixed reviews upon its release, with some critics praising its simple but addictive gameplay, while others criticized its lack of depth and variety.
