Game Description
Splashdown is a water racing video game developed by Rainbow Studios and published by Infogrames. It was released in 2001 for the PlayStation 2 and later for the Xbox. In the game, players control various personal watercraft models as they race against other competitors in courses filled with obstacles and jumps. The game features a career mode, where players earn money and sponsorships by winning races and performing stunts, which can be used to upgrade their watercraft and unlock new tracks and riders. Splashdown also includes a multiplayer mode for up to four players, as well as a freestyle mode where players can perform tricks and stunts in an open environment. The game received positive reviews for its impressive water physics, graphics, and gameplay.
