Game Description
Shaq Fu is a fighting game released in 1994 for various consoles, including the Sega Genesis and Super Nintendo Entertainment System. The game features former NBA player Shaquille O’Neal as the main character, who is transported to another dimension to save a young boy named Nezu from an evil mummy named Sett-Ra. Players can choose from Shaq and a group of other fighters with unique abilities to battle through levels filled with enemies and bosses. The game’s combat system features a mix of traditional fighting game mechanics and special moves inspired by basketball, such as slam dunks and alley-oops. Despite its popularity and novelty, Shaq Fu was heavily criticized for its shallow gameplay, poor graphics, and bad soundtrack.
