Game Description
Saiyuki: Journey West is a tactical RPG released for the PlayStation in 1999. Based on the Chinese novel, Journey to the West, the game follows Sanzo and his party of misfits as they travel to India to stop the resurrection of a demon. The game features a unique “compass” system for movement and positioning during battles, as well as a “karma” system that tracks the moral choices made by the player throughout the game. Saiyuki: Journey West received positive reviews for its engaging story, memorable characters, and innovative gameplay mechanics.
