Game Description
Ray Tracers is a racing video game developed and published by Taito Corporation for the PlayStation console. The game takes place in a futuristic world, where players control a customizable sports car armed with a variety of weapons and special abilities. The gameplay consists of high-speed racing, as well as vehicular combat with other racers and enemy vehicles. The game features a total of 10 tracks, ranging from cities to deserts and other locations. The graphics are presented in a 3D cel-shaded style, and the game also includes a replay mode where players can watch their races from various camera angles. Ray Tracers received mixed reviews upon release, with praise for its graphics and unique gameplay, but criticism for its short length and lack of depth.
