In this Nintendo 3DS title, all the action from Wii adventure One Piece Unlimited Cruise 2: Awakening of a Hero is given a whole new dimension! You’ll be joining the rubber-limbed captain, Monkey D. Luffy, and his madcap band of Straw Hat Pirates as they continue on their quest for the world’s greatest treasure, the One Piece, and try to fulfil Luffy’s ambition to become the King of the Pirates. Following on directly from the first Unlimited Cruise title, your faithful (and ever-so-slightly eccentric) companion Gabri is in trouble, and it’s your job to sail into treacherous waters to save him.

The Story Mode will see you voyaging to a whole host of islands bursting with off-the-wall action and fearsome screen-filling bosses, as Luffy’s epic tale unfolds. For a change of pace, you can experience some classic battles from the series in the Nintendo 3DS-exclusive Marineford Episodes, or if it’s a quick blast of adrenaline you’re after, you can put yourself to the test in Survival Mode. Here, you can find out what you’re really made of by facing a marauding horde of enemies, or by rolling up your sleeves and bringing the fight to a relentless procession of bosses. If that all sounds too much like hard work, you can unwind with an absorbing fishing minigame that’s the ‘reel deal’, cook up useful new items to help in your quest, or enjoy images and music in the Gallery!

Fans of high-octane fighting action won’t be able to tear their eyes away from the screen as Luffy unleashes his limb-stretching Gum Gum Storm attack, or as everyone’s favourite directionally-challenged swordsman, Zoro, cuts loose with katanas. You can learn new moves, hone and customise your strikes, or chain attacks to create thrilling combos. You can even join forces with two or more of your allies to unleash unforgettable and inimitable special moves.
