NHL ’94 is a hockey video game developed by EA Sports for the Sega Genesis and Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1993. The game features all the teams and players from the NHL, allowing players to compete in single games or full seasons. The game’s improved graphics and controls were well-received, and the introduction of one-timer shots and player icon passing became a staple of future hockey games. The game also featured the iconic organ music of EA Sports, which became synonymous with the company’s sports games.
