Game Description

NES Open Tournament Golf is a golf simulation video game developed and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) in 1991. It is the second golf game released by Nintendo for the NES, following Golf, which was released in 1984.

NES Open Tournament Golf features three courses based on real-world locations: the United States, Japan, and Great Britain. The player can choose to play as one of three characters: Mario, Luigi, or their own customized character. The game includes a number of features common to golf video games, such as a power meter to control the strength of the shot and the ability to choose different clubs.

In addition to a standard stroke play mode, NES Open Tournament Golf also includes a tournament mode, in which the player competes against a field of computer-controlled golfers to try to win the championship. The game also includes a two-player mode, in which two players can compete against each other on the same course.

NES Open Tournament Golf was generally well-received upon its release, with critics praising its graphics, sound, and gameplay. The game has since become a cult classic among NES enthusiasts and golf video game fans.
