Game Description

“Monopoly” is a video game based on the popular board game of the same name, developed by Leisure Genius and published by Ariolasoft in 1985. The game was released for various home computers of the time, such as the Amiga, Commodore 64, and ZX Spectrum.

In the game, players take turns rolling dice and moving around a virtual board, buying and selling properties and collecting rent from other players who land on their spaces. The ultimate goal is to become the wealthiest player and bankrupt all opponents.

The game was generally well-received upon release, with critics praising its faithful adaptation of the board game and enjoyable multiplayer gameplay. However, some critics also noted that the game could become tedious after extended play.

Since its initial release, “Monopoly” has been adapted into many different video game versions on various platforms, including modern consoles and mobile devices.
