Game Description

Metropolis Street Racer is a racing video game developed by Bizarre Creations and published by Sega. The game was released exclusively for the Dreamcast console in 2000. Players assume the role of a rookie driver in the fictional metropolis of Tokyo-to, where they must complete a series of races to earn the respect of the city’s racing community and ultimately become the champion of the metropolis.

The game’s core gameplay mechanics revolve around arcade-style racing and customization, allowing players to upgrade and modify their vehicles to suit their racing style and the challenges ahead. The game also features an extensive single-player campaign, as well as several multiplayer modes for up to four players.

Metropolis Street Racer received critical acclaim upon release, with particular praise for its graphics, soundtrack, and immersive gameplay. The game’s success would later pave the way for the popular Project Gotham Racing series.
