Game Description

“Major League Baseball” is a baseball video game developed and published by Nintendo in 1988 for the NES. The game was one of the first baseball games released for the NES console.

The game allows players to select from the twelve teams in Major League Baseball at the time, and compete in a full season of games, including playoffs and the World Series. Players can control all aspects of the game, from pitching and batting to fielding and base running.

The gameplay is viewed from a top-down perspective, and features simple controls and gameplay mechanics that are easy to learn but challenging to master. The game also features various play modes, such as exhibition games, full seasons, and home run derbies.

“Major League Baseball” was well-received upon its release, and is considered a classic sports game from the NES era. The game was praised for its simple yet addictive gameplay, and for its accurate representation of the rules and strategies of baseball.
