Kung-Fu Master was one of the first games to popularize the beat ’em up genre and was highly influential in the development of subsequent games in the genre such as Double Dragon and Final Fight. The game’s popularity led to numerous ports to home consoles and computers, including the Nintendo Entertainment System, Atari 2600, and Commodore 64.
