Kartia: The Word of Fate is a tactical role-playing game developed and published by Atlus for the PlayStation. The game was released in Japan in 1998 and in North America in 1999. Players take control of a young knight named Toxa, who must navigate through various levels, using strategy and tactics to defeat enemies and complete missions. The game features a unique system where players can create magical cards called Kartia, which can be used to summon creatures and cast spells. The game received mixed reviews upon release, with critics praising its unique gameplay mechanics but criticizing its slow pace and lack of innovation.
