Game Description
Ico is a puzzle-platformer action-adventure video game developed by Team Ico and published by Sony Computer Entertainment. It was released for the PlayStation 2 in 2001 in Japan and North America and in 2002 in Europe and Australia. The game tells the story of a young boy, Ico, who is cursed with horns and is imprisoned in an abandoned castle. He meets a young girl, Yorda, who has been similarly imprisoned, and together they attempt to escape. The gameplay involves solving puzzles and platforming challenges, while also protecting Yorda from shadowy creatures that attempt to take her away. The game is known for its minimalist approach to storytelling and its unique visual and audio design.
