Game Description
Heretic is a first-person shooter game developed by Raven Software and published by id Software in 1994. The game is set in a fantasy world that has been taken over by demons, and the player takes on the role of a hero who must fight them off using a range of weapons and spells. Heretic was notable for its use of a modified version of the id Software engine used in the game Doom, as well as for its medieval-themed setting and dark atmosphere.
