Game Description
Ghost Town is a text adventure game that was released in 1981 for the TRS-80, and later ported to other platforms. It was developed by Scott Adams, who also created other classic text adventure games like Adventureland and Pirate Adventure.
In Ghost Town, the player takes on the role of an adventurer who has stumbled upon an abandoned western town that is rumored to be haunted. The player must explore the town and uncover its secrets, which include ghosts, hidden treasures, and dangerous traps.
The game was one of the earliest examples of interactive fiction, a genre of video games that emphasizes storytelling and player choice. It was popular in its time and has since become a classic example of early text adventure games.
