Game Description
“Bomb Jack 2” is a video game released in 1987 by Tecmo. It is the sequel to the original Bomb Jack game, which was released in 1984.
In Bomb Jack 2, players control a character named Jack, who must collect bombs that are scattered throughout various levels. The game features a platforming gameplay style, where players must jump and avoid obstacles while collecting the bombs.
One of the unique features of Bomb Jack 2 was its power-up system. Players could collect power-ups that would increase their speed, allow them to jump higher, or make them temporarily invincible. These power-ups added an extra layer of strategy to the gameplay, as players needed to decide when to use them for maximum effect.
Bomb Jack 2 was released for several home computer systems, including the Commodore 64 and ZX Spectrum. It was generally well-received by critics and is still remembered as a classic of the arcade platformer genre.
