Game Description
Blades of Steel is a hockey video game developed and published by Konami, released in 1988 for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). It is known for its combination of arcade-style action and simulation elements, as well as its memorable soundtrack and innovative “fighting” system.
In Blades of Steel, players take control of a hockey team and compete against other teams in a variety of game modes, including exhibition matches and playoff tournaments. The game features both a top-down view for gameplay and a side-scrolling view for fights, which occur when players collide and initiate a brawl.
