Interstel was a video game
developer and publisher that produced a number of popular titles in the 1980s
and 1990s, including Star Fleet and Rules of Engagement. The company was
founded in 1983 by Paul Murray and William Volk and was known for its innovative
approach to game development. Unfortunately, Interstel went bankrupt in 1991
and its assets were acquired by MicroProse.
