The Ty the Tasmanian Tiger game franchise is a series of platformer games developed by Krome Studios and published by EA Games. The series consists of three main games, as well as several spin-offs, remasters, and re-releases.

The first game, “Ty the Tasmanian Tiger,” was released in 2002 for the PlayStation 2, Xbox, and GameCube consoles. It follows the story of Ty, a Tasmanian tiger, as he sets out to defeat his arch-nemesis, Boss Cass, and save his home from destruction. The game features a large open world, various vehicles, and a boomerang weapon that can be upgraded with different abilities.

The sequel, “Ty the Tasmanian Tiger 2: Bush Rescue,” was released in 2004 for the same consoles. This game sees Ty teaming up with a group of animal friends to form the Bush Rescue team and save endangered species from Boss Cass and his minions.

The third main game, “Ty the Tasmanian Tiger 3: Night of the Quinkan,” was released in 2005 for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox. In this game, Ty returns home to find his friends under attack by a mysterious force called the Quinkan. Ty must once again use his boomerang and other skills to save the day.

The franchise also includes a Game Boy Advance game called “Ty the Tasmanian Tiger 3: Code Breaker,” which features a different story from the main game, as well as a mobile game called “Ty the Tasmanian Tiger: Boomerang Blast.”

In recent years, the franchise has seen a resurgence with the release of remastered versions of the first three games on various platforms, as well as a new game called “Ty the Tasmanian Tiger: Switcheroo!” which was released in 2020 for the Nintendo Switch.
