The Operation Flashpoint video game franchise is a military simulation game series developed by Bohemia Interactive Studio. It is known for its realistic depiction of combat situations and extensive use of military tactics.

The first game in the series, Operation Flashpoint: Cold War Crisis, was released in 2001 for PC. The game is set in the 1980s and tells the story of a conflict between the United States and the Soviet Union. In 2013, the franchise was rebooted with the release of Arma 3, which was a spiritual successor to the Operation Flashpoint series. Arma 3 is a military simulation game that features extensive modding capabilities, a large open world, and a variety of gameplay modes.
