list of No More Heroes video gamesThe No More Heroes video game franchise is a series of action-adventure games developed by Grasshopper Manufacture and directed by Goichi Suda, also known as Suda51. The franchise debuted in 2007 with the release of the first game, No More Heroes, for the Wii console. The game received critical acclaim for its unique blend of over-the-top action, dark humor, and quirky characters.

The franchise centers around the character of Travis Touchdown, an otaku and amateur assassin who rises through the ranks of an organization of assassins called the United Assassins Association (UAA). In order to become the top-ranked assassin, Travis must compete against other assassins in brutal one-on-one battles using a variety of weapons and special abilities.

No More Heroes was followed by a sequel, No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle, in 2010, which continued the story of Travis as he returned to the UAA to reclaim his title as the world’s top assassin. The game was also well-received by critics and fans, and further cemented the franchise’s reputation for its unique blend of stylish action and irreverent humor.

In addition to the mainline games, the franchise has also spawned spin-off titles, including No More Heroes: Heroes’ Paradise, a high-definition remaster of the first game for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, and Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes, a spin-off released for the Nintendo Switch in 2019. The franchise is known for its distinctive visual style, eclectic soundtrack, and memorable characters, and has developed a dedicated fan following over the years.
