The series has since then evolved and expanded, with numerous installments released on various platforms, including consoles, PC, and mobile devices. The franchise is known for its fast-paced arcade-style racing, high-quality graphics, and emphasis on customization and vehicle tuning.

Over the years, the franchise has also introduced various gameplay modes, including police chases, drift events, and team-based racing, as well as online multiplayer. The games have also featured licensed vehicles from various manufacturers, such as Ferrari, Lamborghini, and Porsche.
