list of NCAA video gamesThe NCAA video game franchise is a series of sports simulation games developed and published by EA Sports, a subsidiary of Electronic Arts. The games simulate college sports, primarily football and basketball, and allow players to control individual players, teams, and entire conferences.

The first game in the series, Bill Walsh College Football, was released in 1993 for the Sega Genesis. It was later renamed to College Football USA 94, and subsequent versions were released annually with updated rosters, gameplay improvements, and new features. In addition to football, the series also included NCAA March Madness, a college basketball game that was first released in 1998.

The games were popular among fans of college sports, as they allowed players to experience the excitement of college football and basketball, and offered unique features such as recruiting and building up programs from small schools to powerhouses. However, the games also faced controversy due to the use of player likenesses and names without compensation, leading to legal challenges and ultimately the discontinuation of the series in 2013.
