NBA Jam is a basketball arcade game franchise developed and published by Midway Games. The series debuted in 1993 and has since released several sequels and spin-off titles.

The original NBA Jam was a 2-on-2 arcade basketball game that featured exaggerated, arcade-style gameplay and graphics. It quickly became popular for its fast-paced and over-the-top action, as well as its use of real NBA players and teams.
