Lands of Lore is a series of fantasy role-playing video games developed by Westwood Studios, which was a subsidiary of Virgin Interactive Entertainment. The franchise consists of three games, all released in the 1990s.

The first game, Lands of Lore: The Throne of Chaos, was released in 1993. It is a first-person RPG that takes place in a world called The Lands, which is threatened by a powerful evil sorceress named Scotia. The player takes on the role of the chosen hero, tasked with stopping Scotia and saving The Lands.

The second game, Lands of Lore II: Guardians of Destiny, was released in 1997. It is a third-person RPG that takes place 500 years after the events of the first game. The player takes on the role of Luther, a human who is transformed into a creature called a Draconian, and must find a way to reverse the transformation and save his homeland.

The third game, Lands of Lore III, was released in 1999. It is also a third-person RPG, but with a different gameplay style than its predecessor. The game takes place in a different part of The Lands, and follows a young woman named Dawn, who discovers a mysterious portal that transports her to a different world.
