The Dying Light video game franchise is a first-person survival horror game series developed by Techland and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. The franchise is set in an open-world environment and focuses on players trying to survive in a world overrun by zombies.

The first game, Dying Light, was released in January 2015 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The game received positive reviews and was praised for its parkour mechanics, which allowed players to traverse the game’s environments in a unique way. In addition, the game’s day and night cycle added an extra layer of danger to the gameplay, as the zombies became more aggressive and difficult to deal with at night.
